Phase one: In transit from Europe to Argentina

It took me nearly a full day to travel from Gent to Frankfurt, where I teamed up with Peter and the rest of the swiss group. After joining the group we prepared for a late night winter depature, to be greeted by a very warm and sunny blue sky in Buenos Aires, only 12 hours later.

After a short day of sightseeing we had to wake up very early the next morning, to catch our flight to Ushaia. Ushaia is the southernmost city on the South American continent, and therefore perhaps the southernmost city in the entire World. There's a reason Ushuaia's nickname is "Fin del Mundo", the end of the world. By all practical means, it is the end of the world. But, a very beautiful end of the world it is.
